Although we could not find a definitive currency we did find pictures of coins of various people in the empire.                                                                                    

                                                                                This is Philip II coin. It shows Zeus on the front and a young man on a horse                      This is Alexander's coin. It has Hercules on the front Zeus on the back and
on the back. The coin says Philips name on the back making it a coin of his                           it says Alexander's name.

  This one is Ptolemy III. It has a picture of Zeus on the front and an Eagle on the back.
It also says King Ptolemy on it.
