The Han Dynasty had one of the largest amount of man power in the world.  Such mounuments as the Great Wall and The Tomb of the Terracata Warriors were built by hand.  Around the year 2 Ad the first know census was taken to better understand the reach of the empire and to improve taxation.  It was found that the inhabitance of the Han Dynasty nubered 57,671,400 people. This amount in comparison of the United States is equivilant to the population of present day California.

     The empire in its intirerty was a colection of different regions of china that were brought together in order to fulfill the unfication of china.
