China during the Han dynasty was full of natural resources that helped
it to thrive and become a powerful empire. Iron was mined and used to make
weapons and other items. Rice, which is a very important food to the Chinese
people, has the perfect growing conditions in the south of the country. The
Yellow River and the Yangtze River provide irregation oppurtunities and transportation.
The irregation helps the rice and grain production throughout China.
Trade was enhanced with other cultures after silk was discovered by
the world around China. The Han Dynasty used the silk road to trade with
the Romans and other countries to the west. The silk road ran along the great
wall and kept going west all the way to the mediterrainian sea. Strangely,
no romans were ever found in China and no Chinese were found in Rome. The
