THE PHILISTINE WARS
The philistine wars were fought by the people in Canaan,
which was later divided into Judah and Israel. David was the ruler that caused
the turning point in the war, which led to the people of Israel winning the
war against the Philistines. This war was slowly won during davids reign which
was somewhere from 1030 to 962 BCE. David was even in these wars before he
was the King. He gained much fame when he killed the Philistine giant
Goliath with a slingshot when he was a
boy.
