3 of Nero's Great Acheivements
1. His first great achievement was he had a focus on the arts. He encouraged
the progress in poetry, literature, and painting. During this time
the cultural aspect of Roman life increased drastically. Some of the
greatest theories in philosophy emerged in this time expanding even the common
minds became interest in the arts.
2. Another great thing Nero accomplished was rebuilding Rome to a glorified
beautiful palace. He had always wanted to rebuild the city to perfection
and the myth is that he burnt down the city himself and rebuilt it.
3. Nero’s also accomplished peace within the kingdom beside Judea.
This allowed for cultural diffusion and the expansion of ideas and thoughts.
This is very important and the growth in all aspects of life occurred.
Trading was easy and travel was safe. This was the Roman Empire needed
for expansion.
