The Alexandrian Code of Law

The Macedonian’s never organized a code of law.  After Alexander’s conquest all throughout the world, the leaders never spread the code of law found in the Macedonian’s home land of Greece.  The territories which were conquered got to keep their code of law if they had one, but under a Macedonian rule.  The people who got to keep their own code of law, were Persia and Babylon.  The Babylonians had Hammurabi’s code, because that was so successful, Babylon never changed their code after Hammurabi revolutionized the world.  Alexander was so confident in his people that he never felt the need to organize a code of law.  He still went down as one of the best leaders to ever live in the ancient world.
