Set Page Orientation in Word | |||||||||||||||

Page orientation is controlled through Page Setup, which also allows you to set page margins (top, bottom, left, and right), paper size, and some more specialized layout options. To enter page setup, go to the menu bar and select:
In the resultant Page Setup dialog box, click on the Paper Size tab to adjust orientation as well as paper size. Click on the appropriate spot for landscape or portrait. When setting orientation, be aware that portrait is vertical and landscape is horizontal. You can type numbers or use the radio buttons to adjust page size settings. When you make changes, you can get an idea of the effect by looking at the preview in the dialog box. Use the links below for tips on how to perform other Microsoft Word 97 functions.
